The Power BI Developer will have supporting experience with Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Pages, and Power Automate, to enable integrated data-driven solutions. The Power BI Developer will be able to leverage the Agile Way of Working to engage stakeholders and meet customers’ needs. A successful Power BI Developer will be detail oriented, possess the management skills to hold people accountable to quality expectations and timelines, and respond quickly to evolving client needs. Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.\nResponsibilities\nSolution Design:\nAnalyze business requirements to identify Power BI reporting, dashboard, and data visualization solutions\nDesign and develop Power BI solutions, including semantic models, datasets, dashboards, reports, and automated reporting capabilities to modernize legacy solutions\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet their needs\nDevelopment:\nDevelop Power BI solutions using Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, and supporting Power Platform capabilities\nCreate interactive dashboards, reports, data models, and other components to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders\nIntegrate Power BI with SharePoint, SQL Server, cloud services, and other systems and applications\nTesting and Quality Assurance:\nTest and debug Power BI solutions to ensure they meet quality standards, data accuracy requirements, and user needs\nPerform unit, integration, and system testing\nProvide technical support for Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and related applications\nMaintenance and Support:\nProvide ongoing maintenance and support for Power BI solutions\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports, dashboards, data refreshes, and data models\nStay up-to-date with the latest Power BI and Power Platform technologies and best practices\nDocumentation:Create and maintain technical documentation for SharePoint solutions\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics or related field\n3-5+ years of experience developing Power BI solutions\nStrong understanding of Power BI architecture, data modeling, development frameworks, and best practices\nProficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, and relevant data visualization techniques\nExperience developing interactive dashboards, reports, semantic models, datasets, and data refresh solutions\nKnowledge of SQL Server, database design, and data integration concepts\nExperience with Power BI and supporting Power Platform software, including Power Apps, Power Pages, and Power Automate, for automation, documentation, and reporting\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills \nMust possess an active Secret clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree\nOrganizational change management understanding and/or certifications\nExperience with Human Centered Design principles and methodologies\nExperience with 508 compliance requirements\nPrevious experience within the government contracting space\nPrevious experience in DoW\nTarget salary range: $110,000 - $130,000\nDisclaimer:\nThe salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
