Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.\nResponsibilities\nSupports a variety of project accounting functions for a portfolio of programs\nWorks closely with the Contracts Department and the Business Units to effectively support the finance and accounting requirements \nCompletes project setup for a variety of project types (CPFF, T&M, FFP, FFP/LoE & Indirect Projects)\nGenerates invoices and supports the billing submittal process to include preparation of backup documentation and submittal of invoices using online WEB based system\nSupport the close-out process\nSupports other project accounting tasks\nUses discretion and judgment in handling sensitive, proprietary, and confidential material\nDuties require initiative, knowledge, flexibility and judgment.\nMust be a critical thinker and able to develop solutions of their own to solve problems\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree required.\n\nMinimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience.\n\nExperience with Deltek Costpoint 7.\n\nExperience in accounts receivable, accounting, contracts, or project controls within a government contracting environment.\n\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\n\nWorking knowledge of government contract types, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Level of Effort (FPLOE), Time and Materials (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and hybrid contracts.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret, simplify, and effectively communicate complex or technical information to stakeholders at all organizational levels.\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment while managing competing priorities and consistently meeting high performance expectations.\n\nExcellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.\nTarget salary range: $51,000-$83,000\n Disclaimer:The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
