Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.\nResponsibilities\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop an analytic infrastructure roadmap to transition current data infrastructure services to a cloud environment.\nDesign supporting data architectures and integration paths\nSupport data automation processes to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.\nProvide project management support, ensuring effective coordination and execution of data engineering services initiatives.\nDevelop and implement modernization strategies for existing data analytics infrastructure, utilizing cloud-native tools and services.\nOptimize cloud architecture and infrastructure to improve scalability, security, and cost-efficiency for analytic operations.\nLiaise with USAF IT and other entities to facilitate communication and collaboration.\nQualifications\nMinimum:\nBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.\nExperience with modeling and simulation solutions for supply chain optimization.\nProficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, R).\nProven hands-on experience in migrating data analytics products to cloud platforms such as AWS.\nProficiency in cloud-native tools and services for analytics and data processing (e.g., AWS Redshift, Glue, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).\nStrong technical skills in configuring, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure components relevant to data analytics.\nStrong understanding of data automation and analytic architecture design.\nExperience in project management within a technical or data analytics context.\nAbility to liaise effectively with IT and other organizational entities.\nActive Secret security clearance required.\nPreferred:\nMaster’s degree in a relevant field.\nRelevant certifications in cloud computing, data engineering, or project management (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Data Analyst, PMP).\nExperience working with USAF cloud environment capabilities.\nExperience in designing and executing cloud modernization initiatives for legacy analytic systems.\nFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to automate cloud deployments and configurations.\nExpertise in optimizing cloud environments for performance, security, and cost, with a focus on analytics workloads.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver innovative solutions.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.\nA DoD Secret clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
