Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.\nResponsibilities\nOwn the design and delivery of user-facing applications.\n\nBuild responsive interfaces, backend services, APIs, and data integrations.\n\nBuild and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm.\n\nWork directly with Army users and product designers to understand workflows and refine capabilities.\n\nEstablish sound practices for architecture, testing, code review, security, CI/CD, and production operations.\n\nDiagnose complex application and integration issues across the stack.\n\nMentor engineers and contribute to technical decisions across the broader platform.\n\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nFive or more years of professional software engineering experience.\n\nStrong proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript, React, and modern web application development.\n\nStrong proficiency in at least one backend language or runtime, such as Python, Go, or Node.js, with experience building APIs and data-intensive applications.\n\nExperience building containerized applications and deploying them to Kubernetes.\n\nDemonstrated ownership of a significant software capability from architecture through production deployment.\n\nExperience supporting a Department of War customer.\n\nActive Secret clearance.\n\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience supporting U.S. Army logistics.\n\nExperience with Helm.\n\nExperience with enterprise data platforms or Army Vantage.\n\nFamiliarity with Army headquarters acquisition or program management processes.\n\nExperience with cloud platforms and DevSecOps.\n\nDemonstrated use of AI development tools as part of a professional software engineering workflow.\n\nThe target salary range for this position is $112,000-$190,000.\nThe salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to location, internal equity, business considerations, client contract requirements, and candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, skills, and security clearances.\nApplicants must meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Government security clearance.
