The selected candidate will lead and advance automated testing capabilities for a major Defense Business System modernization effort, working closely with Army test agencies, ERP program personnel, and the lead system integrator.\nThis role is responsible for developing test strategies, automation frameworks, test plans, and quality practices that enable reliable, repeatable, and risk-based testing throughout the software delivery lifecycle. The position supports remote telework, with occasional travel to client offices at Fort Lee and Fort Belvoir, Virginia.\nResponsibilities\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, maintain, and execute program-level test and evaluation plans.\nCoordinate testing activities with Army test organizations, ERP program staff, functional stakeholders, and the lead system integrator.\nDevelop test strategies, test plans, test cases, traceability artifacts, and automated test suites from business requirements, design documentation, user stories, and technical specifications.\nDesign, develop, maintain, and enhance scalable test automation frameworks for applications delivered in a continuous integration and continuous delivery environment.\nDevelop automated test scripts, reusable automation components, test data approaches, and test execution processes.\nEstablish and implement test automation standards, best practices, governance processes, and quality controls within an Agile and SAFe delivery environment.\nTranslate complex business and ERP requirements into effective, maintainable automated test scenarios.\nPerform functional, regression, integration, interface, API, end-to-end, and risk-based testing as appropriate.\nIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD/CT pipelines and promote continuous testing practices.\nAnalyze automation framework performance, test results, defect trends, and test coverage; identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.\nReview test outcomes and recommend risk mitigations, corrective actions, and disposition of recurring discrepancies.\nOversee testing activities to ensure delivered products conform to established performance, quality, security, policy, and technical standards.\nActively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.\nMentor test team members and train functional testers in automated testing tools, processes, and best practices.\nCommunicate test status, quality risks, automation metrics, and technical findings clearly to program leadership, auditors, and nontechnical stakeholders.\nEnsure requirements are validated and program test objectives are met across releases and deployment milestones.\nQualifications\nRequired Experience and Skills\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical field.\n10 or more years of professional experience in software quality assurance and test automation, including test framework design, development, implementation, and sustainment.\nDemonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale automated testing solutions.\nExpert-level knowledge of automated testing methodologies, test design techniques, test data management, regression testing, defect management, and quality assurance practices.\nExperience developing and maintaining automated tests within Agile software development environments.\nFamiliarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile delivery practices.\nExperience integrating test automation with CI/CD platforms and source-control tools.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to diagnose and communicate complex ERP, integration, and data-related defects.\nAbility to communicate technical concepts, testing risks, and quality findings clearly to senior leaders, auditors, functional stakeholders, and technical teams.\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder Department of Defense environment.\nCommitment to quality, documentation, repeatability, traceability, continuous improvement, and test automation excellence.\nActive Secret security clearance.\nDesired Experience and Skills\nTricentis Test Automation Expertise\nSignificant hands-on experience with the Tricentis enterprise testing platform, with a primary emphasis on Tricentis Tosca for model-based, risk-based, and end-to-end test automation.\nExperience designing, developing, administering, and maintaining Tosca test automation frameworks for complex enterprise applications, including SAP and other ERP platforms.\nDemonstrated expertise creating reusable Tosca modules, test cases, test case design artifacts, execution lists, recovery scenarios, test data strategies, and maintainable automation assets.\nExperience using Tosca’s model-based test automation capabilities to automate SAP GUI, SAP Fiori, web, desktop, API, database, and interface testing.\nExperience implementing Tosca TestCase Design practices, including equivalence partitioning, boundary-value analysis, combinatorial test design, and risk-based test coverage.\nExperience with Tricentis qTest for test management, requirements traceability, test execution tracking, defect integration, metrics, reporting, and audit-ready test evidence.\nExperience integrating Tosca automated test results with qTest to provide centralized test reporting, traceability, and program-level quality metrics.\nExperience using Tricentis LiveCompare to support SAP impact analysis, change intelligence, regression test optimization, and risk-based testing for SAP or SAP S/4HANA environments.\nExperience with additional Tricentis tools, as applicable, including:\nTricentis NeoLoad for performance, load, and scalability testing.\nTricentis API testing, service virtualization, test data, or other platform capabilities.\nExperience integrating Tricentis tools with Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, or comparable DevSecOps, CI/CD, and application lifecycle management platforms.\nAbility to establish Tricentis automation governance, naming conventions, repository standards, reusable component libraries, execution strategies, and reporting standards across multiple delivery teams.\nExperience leading Tricentis tool adoption, platform administration, automation center-of-excellence activities, or migration from manual testing or legacy automation tools to Tosca.\nDesired Tricentis Certifications\nCurrent Tricentis Tosca Automation Specialist Level 1 certification or current equivalent.\nCurrent Tricentis Tosca Automation Specialist Level 2 certification or current equivalent.\nCurrent Tricentis Tosca Test Design Specialist certification or current equivalent.\nCurrent Tricentis Tosca Automation Engineer certification or current equivalent.\nCurrent Tricentis Test Architect certification or demonstrated equivalent experience designing
