Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain operational applications using Palantir Foundry and modern software development frameworks.\n\nBuild user-facing interfaces, backend services, APIs, and integrations supporting operational workflows.\n\nDevelop conversational AI capabilities that enable users to query enterprise information using natural language.\n\nImplement AI-enabled workflows, including agent orchestration, tool integration, contextual interactions, and human-in-the-loop processes.\n\nIntegrate applications with Foundry Ontology objects, relationships, and Actions.\n\nDevelop capabilities that present authoritative information with appropriate source traceability and data-quality controls.\n\nCollaborate directly with operational users to understand requirements, prototype solutions, and incorporate feedback.\n\nEvaluate and integrate existing Palantir AIP capabilities and other approved AI technologies.\n\nApply software engineering best practices, including testing, code reviews, security, CI/CD, and production monitoring.\n\nCollaborate with data engineers to ensure applications can reliably access and use integrated operational data.\n\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nFour or more years of professional software engineering experience.\n\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and modern application development frameworks such as React.\n\nExperience developing full-stack applications, backend services, and APIs.\n\nExperience developing applications using Palantir Foundry or comparable enterprise data platforms.\n\nProficiency in Python, Node.js, C#, or other modern backend development technologies.\n\nExperience integrating data-driven applications with enterprise services.\n\nFamiliarity with large language models, conversational AI, or AI-enabled application development.\n\nStrong understanding of software engineering practices, including version control, testing, and deployment.\n\nExperience supporting Department of Defense or other federal government customers.\n\nActive Top Secret clearance.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nHands-on experience with Palantir Foundry Workshop, Ontology SDK, Actions, or AIP.\n\nExperience implementing AI agents, orchestration frameworks, tool calling, or multi-step AI workflows.\n\nExperience developing natural-language interfaces to structured and unstructured enterprise data.\n\nFamiliarity with LLM evaluation, retrieval-augmented generation, and AI application guardrails.\n\nExperience supporting Army operational applications or command-and-control environments.\n\nExperience developing secure applications in government or restricted computing environments.\n\nFamiliarity with Maven Smart System or Army Vantage.\n\nTarget salary range: $115,000 - 135,000\nDisclaimer: The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
