Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.\nResponsibilities\nOwn the architecture and implementation of scalable data pipelines and data products.\n\nIntegrate and transform data from multiple Army and enterprise sources.\n\nDevelop data models and ontology that support application modernization, reporting, and analysis.\n\nDesign for data quality, lineage, security, observability, and long-term maintainability.\n\nEstablish engineering standards for testing, source control, deployment, and operations.\n\nPartner with software engineers, product designers, and customer stakeholders.\n\nReview technical designs, mentor engineers, and resolve complex data challenges.\n\nQualifications\nRequire Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, data science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nEight or more years of experience building production data systems.\n\nStrong proficiency with Python, SQL, and modern data-engineering patterns.\n\nExperience designing data pipelines and products on Palantir Foundry or a comparable enterprise data platform.\n\nExperience with data modeling, ontology, data quality, and lineage.\n\nStrong software-engineering fundamentals, including testing, source control, CI/CD, and monitoring.\n\nExperience supporting a Department of War customer.\n\nActive Secret clearance.\n\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience supporting the U.S. Army.\n\nDirect experience with Army Vantage.\n\nExperience with PySpark or other distributed data-processing technologies.\n\nFamiliarity with Army ERPs and SAP-based systems.\n\nExperience with cloud platforms, DevSecOps, and infrastructure as code.\n\nFamiliarity with API design and development, backend services, and service orchestration.\n\nApplicants must meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Government security clearance. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
