Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.\nResponsibilities\nProvide Intra-Departmental liaison support to the Defense Capability Group (DCG) Lead, coordinating information regarding sUAS activities across all DHS components, as well as interagency networking between other DCG agencies.\nObserve and report on small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) technology demonstrations and Test and Evaluation (T&E) programs and projects for senior Law Enforcement Executives\nTrack ongoing RDT&E, technology demonstrations, and T&E activities to assess viability of deployment and operational capabilities of COTS, GOTS, and integrated sUAS systems.\nLeverage comprehensive understanding of legal exemptions regarding sUAS, to include: Title 6, 124n; Title 10 130i, as well as Executive Orders 14305 and 14307 regarding American air superiority, to:\nCoordinate operational plan (OPLAN) information with Office of Chief Counsel and Office of General Counsel for approval.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree required; Master's Degree preferred\n8-10 years of relevant experience preferred\nInterdisciplinary systems engineering lifecycle skillsets with knowledge of sUAS technologies\nUnderstanding of law enforcement CONOPS, particularly regarding sUAS\nMust have a strong technology background and understand a wide array of technologies and how they communicate\nStrong understanding of geospatial analysis and applications\nAbility to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)\nDemonstrate a high level of initiative and be a self-starter, solution seeker\nA true team player who promotes cross-functional collaboration and maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment\nMust understand how to work and brief effectively with high level Government staff\nAbility to obtain a Top-Secret clearance. \nYou must be a U.S. citizen.\nAbility to travel up to 25% of the time, as needed\nMust work in the customer's office space in Harper's Ferry, WV\n\nTarget salary range: $165,000 - $195,000.\nDisclaimer:\nThe salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
