Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.\nResponsibilities\nYou will serve as both the deployment manager for the client’s linear technology as well as the team lead for a deployment team (approximately 7 SMEs).\nYou will facilitate the client’s technology construction deployments by\nServing as agency representative for assigned project(s), responsible for a successful execution of the IST Program\nBeing responsible for successful project execution including management of scope, schedule, budget, risk, and contractor performance\nBeing responsible for ensuring timely elevation of project issues through the Planning and Project Execution Team for resolution\nIdentifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks, issues, and opportunities for assigned project(s)\nServing as the project expert and spokesperson for the project(s) with responsibility to present, explain, and defend program management issues and directions to executive officials in CBP, DHS, and other government agencies and interested public groups as requested by the Program Manager.\nCollaborating with the U.S. Department of War, Federal Aviation Agency (FAA), Engineering, Business Management, key stakeholders, and other offices throughout the project life cycles\nCoordinating all project related outreach efforts\nYou will serve as the team lead for those supporting the specific technology you are responsible for support team by:\nUnderstand customer requirements and evaluating staffing and project needs to meet the project requirementsSupporting overall contract reporting requirements, specifically by reporting team accomplishments Lead a positive, productive team environment.\nDelegate tasks, provide feedback, and motivate team members.\nAdapt to changing priorities and workloads.\nStrong soft skills to uphold ethical standards and maintain a positive team environment.\n\nQualifications\nBackground Investigation: Active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation required.\nEducation & Experience: Master’s degree in business, management, finance, or information management with 10+ years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience, or High School diploma with 25+ years of relevant experience.\nExperience in: Deploying technology systems and construction management, remote sensor maintenance and/or repair, and/or Civil/site design.\nExperienced leader with: 3-5 years in a related team-lead role with 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.\nTechnical Knowledge:Knowledge of MD-102.\nUnderstanding of NEPA and federal real estate clearance process.\nEngineering and project management for DHS or DoD in communications and sensor technology.\n\nTechnical Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.\nExcellent Communication & Problem-Solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions.Strong organizational Skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.\nExperienced in managing multiple projects with independent schedules and budgets.\n\nTravel: Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.\nTarget salary range: $120,000 - $175,000.\nFinal compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
