Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.\nResponsibilities\nThe ideal candidate combines strong Appian platform knowledge with practical systems administration, integration, performance, and security experience and will work closely with developers, solution architects, DevSecOps engineers, database administrators, information assurance personnel, and functional stakeholders.\nAdminister and maintain Appian Platform environments supporting ACWS application development, testing, staging, and production operations.\nPerform Appian application deployments, configuration changes, environment promotions, and release support in accordance with approved procedures.\nManage Appian users, groups, roles, permissions, service accounts, and access-related configuration in coordination with security and program policies.\nMonitor Appian platform health, performance, capacity, logs, services, integrations, and system availability and take corrective action as needed.\nSupport Appian Cloud configuration and platform support processes and coordinate with hosting or vendor support organizations when required.\nTroubleshoot complex Appian application, integration, performance, configuration, and connectivity issues and coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for resolution.\nSupport enterprise identity and access integrations, including LDAP, Active Directory, SSO, SAML, certificates, and related authentication mechanisms.\nSupport Appian in-memory data and platform architecture considerations, including sizing and horizontal or vertical scaling activities as directed.\nCoordinate with database administrators, DevSecOps engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and solution architects on platform changes, maintenance, and incident resolution.\nSupport security hardening, configuration compliance, patching, and operational documentation for Appian environments.\nMaintain configuration records, runbooks, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides and contribute to knowledge management.\nParticipate in Agile planning, release activities, testing, user acceptance testing, and production implementation efforts.\nQualifications\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.\n5+ years of experience in system administration, enterprise application administration, application operations, or related technical roles.\nDemonstrated experience administering enterprise applications and supporting application deployments, configurations, access controls, and troubleshooting.\nExperience with platform monitoring, logs, diagnostic tools, configuration management, and performance troubleshooting.\nExperience supporting identity and access technologies such as LDAP, Active Directory, SSO, SAML, or certificates.\nStrong understanding of enterprise application architecture, integrations, security, and operational support processes.\nActive Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.\nU.S. citizenship required.\nDESIRED SKILLS\nAppian Platform administration or application operations experience strongly preferred.\nAppian certification or formal Appian training.\nExperience with Appian Cloud or Appian GovCloud and related platform support processes.\nExperience with Appian in-memory KDB engines, environment sizing, scaling, and performance optimization.\nExperience supporting DoD contract writing, acquisition, or other federal mission-critical applications.\nFamiliarity with DoD RMF, STIGs, DISA security guidance, and security hardening activities.\nITIL Foundation, Security+, or comparable technical certification.\nExperience working in Agile or SAFe delivery environments.\nThe target salary range for this position goes up to $144,000.\nThe salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
