Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.\nResponsibilities\nCollaborate with integrated project teams, program managers, and executive stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into actionable Power BI dashboards, reports, and metrics.\n\nCompile, integrate, clean, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple systems and platforms to support project, program, and portfolio reporting.\n\nDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards, scorecards, reports, and data models that provide clear, actionable insights into cost, schedule, technical performance, quality, risks, issues, and program health.\n\nDevelop and maintain data transformation logic using Power Query, SQL, Excel, or other approved tools to prepare data for reporting and analysis.\n\nCreate and optimize Power BI data models, measures, calculated columns, and KPIs using DAX.\n\nConfigure, monitor, and troubleshoot scheduled data refreshes in Power BI Service or other approved reporting environments.\n\nSupport executive and management reporting by preparing dashboards, briefing materials, and performance measures that inform strategies, decisions, and management actions.\n\nAnalyze program and project cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality data to identify trends, anomalies, common issues, and areas requiring management attention.\n\nSupport data quality improvement by identifying inconsistencies, gaps, duplicate records, and validation issues across source systems and reporting products.\n\nRecommend data visualization approaches that improve transparency, usability, and decision support for project, program, and portfolio reporting.\n\nIdentify opportunities to automate recurring reports, manual data manipulation, and business processes using Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, Excel, or other approved tools.\n\nTest, validate, and document dashboard logic, data sources, business rules, calculations, and refresh processes.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve report, dashboard, data model, access, and data refresh issues.\n\nMaintain reporting products in accordance with applicable data governance, records management, cybersecurity, and privacy requirements.\n\nQualifications\n Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.\nBachelors degree required. Degree in computer science, engineering, data science, operations research, industrial engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline preferred.\n3-5+ years of related experience required.\nHigh level of proficiency using/creating Tableau, Qlik, and/or Microsoft Power BI dashboards, workbooks, and databases; using data to drive business decisions; and building effective and engaging visualizations.\nSelf-starter with the vision to independently identify opportunities for improvement through data analytics.\nExperience visualizing data through the creation of dashboards and balanced scorecards summarizing organization performance using data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Power BI) in collaboration with others as well as independently.\nExpertise in building and cleaning databases from multiple data sources, combining cost and performance information.\nExperience with developing queries for routine data requests and reports.\nStatistical analysis experience.\nExperience creating formulas within PowerBI/Tableau/Qlik.\nExperience with Power Query when creating dashboards.\nProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.\nA true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.\nExperience with building, implementing, and supporting complex Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI visualizations\nDemonstrated ability to understand technical concepts and structure research that simplify these concepts.\nStrong cross-cultural communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.\nDesired:\nTableau, Microsoft Power BI, or Qlik certification a plus.\nExperience utilizing Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) in PowerBI.\nExperience with SQL. \nPrevious work with CBP is a plus.\nA current and fully-adjudicated CBP Background Investigation (BI) is a plus.\nMasters degree preferred.\n5-7+ years of experience preferred.\nThe target salary range for this position is $76,390 - $130,605.\nThe salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
