Through efficient & responsible use of data and improving the secondary use of data, LNDS will support the acceleration of economic, ecological, and societal transitions.www.lnds.lu | LNDS on LinkedIn\nPurpose of the job / project\nHDAB-LU: This 4-year project, which started in January 2024, aims to develop and deploy the Health Data Access Body of Luxembourg, which is the national authority responsible for granting access to health data for secondary use as set out in The European Data Governance Act (DGA) and the European Health Data Space (EHDS). Its general objective is to enable Luxembourg to establish and deploy services for its HDAB, at minimum:\nprocessing and management of data access applications,\n\nsupporting secure processing of health data by data users,\n\nmaking sure that they are well integrated in the EHDS,\n\nestablishing and aligning with EU standards,\n\nand providing cross-border connections for large-scale deployment of HealthData@EU based on the work conducted by the joint action TEHDaS.\n\nAs an IT Infra Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the company’s infrastructure. You will work closely with the technology team to deliver high-quality services to the HDAB's end users, including data applicants and data users seeking access to health data for secondary use. In addition, you will monitor and report on performance quality metrics and support internal and external stakeholders, including national partners and EHDS/HealthData@EU counterparts, in resolving issues.\nWhat you will do\nHelp in the architecture, deployment, and improvement of cloud environments, as well as other IT infrastructures needed for the company to operate.\n\nCollaborate across teams to transform business needs focused on public sector data secondary use into secure and relevant deployments.\n\nImplement and ensure that the disaster recovery strategy is followed.\n\nEvaluate and deploy new technologies and tools to keep the infrastructure relevant.\n\nAssist to manage the Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions in place.\n\nDeploy, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and networking using different configuration management tools.\n\nImplement effective monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address issues.\n\nCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, architectural diagrams, and compliance reports.\n\nWho you are\nMasters in a scientific, technological, or engineering discipline related to computer science, information technology, or computing.\n\n2 to 5 years of relevant experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining complex infrastructure environments.\n\nMust have knowledge of automation for the cloud (e.g., Terraform) and configuration of resources (e.g., Ansible, puppet).\n\nMust have solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS), security best practices, and firewall configurations.\n\nMust have strong knowledge of RHEL based operating systems.\n\nMust have knowledge of virtualization solutions such as VMware, Hyper-V, and OpenStack.\n\nProficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation.\n\nKnowledge of Object-based storage solutions such as Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, ...\n\nWorking knowledge in cloud computing platforms such as GCP, Azure or AWS.\n\nYou have cultural intelligence and diversity consciousness.\n\nExcellent communication skills in English.\n\nWorking knowledge of one of
