At Light & Wonder, it’s all about the games, and our Gaming team builds cutting-edge technology, products, and content for the most iconic casinos and operators across the globe.\nPosition Summary\nThe person in this position performs professional work in research, development, design, testing, analysis, production, construction, maintenance, and operation or electrical systems employed in company product lines.\nEssential Job Functions\nDesigns new electronic circuit board assemblies based on required specifications using proper engineering techniques\n\nTroubleshooting of designs using test equipment and proper analysis techniques\n\nWorks with other engineers to solve technical problems that exist with current manufacturing products; research alternate component possibilities to assist with procurement issues that may arise\n\nCreates firmware for electrical hardware that has been designed by Bally\n\nPerforms most assignments independently, within scope of defined program, with direction from senior level engineers\n\nTraining and/or Experience\n2 to 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering design, analysis and testing\n\nExperience in design and analysis of digital and microprocessor-based circuits\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nKnowledge of electrical engineering theory, principles and procedures\n\nMust have working knowledge with modern testing equipment, e.g. oscilloscopes, digital analyzers, multi-meters, function generators, and spectrum analyzers\n\nAbility to ensure proper PCB layout design and must be familiar with proper use of power/ground planes, split planes, EMI, impedance matching, transmission line affects, etc.\n\nExperience in developing digital circuitry including microprocessor architecture and programmable logic for various requirements\n\nExperience in designing analog circuitry including linear/LDO voltage regulators, switching regulators and a fundamental understanding of transistor design and analog circuit analysis\n\nMust have good computer skills and knowledge\n\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or significant equivalent experience\nQualifications\nPhysical Requirements\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
