This role is responsible for creating high-quality illustrations for slot games, including symbols, characters, environments, feature assets, and UI elements. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently delivering production-ready artwork while maintaining visual consistency, quality standards, and project timelines. The Core Illustrator plays a key role in transforming game concepts into engaging visual experiences and works closely with designers, animators, developers, and senior artists throughout the development process.\nKey Responsibilities\nCreate high-quality illustrations for slot symbols, characters, backgrounds, feature screens, and UI elements.\n\nDevelop visually appealing assets that align with game themes and creative briefs.\n\nTranslate design requirements into polished production-ready artwork.\n\nEnsure consistency with established art styles and visual guidelines.\n\nCollaborate with designers, animators, developers, and production teams throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nCreate multiple design variations and iterate based on creative feedback.\n\nPrepare and organize assets for production and game integration.\n\nMaintain quality standards while meeting project deadlines.\n\nContribute ideas during concept discussions and art reviews.\n\nSupport associate artists through guidance and knowledge sharing when required.\n\nTake ownership of assigned assets from brief to final delivery and proactively communicate risks or challenges.\n\nEnsure assets meet both artistic quality standards and technical production requirements.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\nStrong illustration and digital painting skills.\n\nGood understanding of composition, color theory, lighting, perspective, and visual storytelling.\n\nProficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other relevant digital art tools.\n\nAbility to create clean, polished, production-ready artwork.\n\nStrong understanding of asset creation workflows and game art pipelines.\n\nGood attention to detail and visual consistency.\n\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.\n\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills.\n\nUnderstanding of game production constraints, asset optimisation, and implementation requirements.\n\nAbility to create visually engaging assets that support readability, player engagement, and game functionality.\n\nExperience\n3-5 years of experience in illustration, game art, or a related field.\n\nExperience in gaming, mobile gaming, or iGaming is preferred.\n\nStrong portfolio demonstrating illustration quality, creativity, and production capability.\n\nExperience creating assets across multiple visual styles.\n\nGood to Have\nExperience in slot game development.\n\nKnowledge of UI illustration and visual hierarchy.\n\nBasic understanding of animation workflows and asset requirements.\n\nExposure to 3D tools and workflows.\n\nExperience working with AI-assisted creative tools for ideation and reference generation.\n\nFamiliarity with optimization and export
