You'll join a collaborative team where your ideas matter, working on cutting-edge electronic gaming machines from concept through to production.\nIf you enjoy bringing products to life, balancing creativity with practical engineering, and working in an environment where no two projects are the same, we'd love to hear from you.\nWe're looking for people who are full of ideas, want to challenge the norm and work to our core values…\nDare to be Bold - We always bring courage to work to reach for the unbelievable.\n\nUphold Integrity - We promote accountability and respect to raise the bar for ourselves and the industry.\n\nNever Settle - We relentlessly push forward to create the extraordinary in every detail.\n\nCelebrate Perspectives - We combine diverse talent to look at the familiar in unfamiliar ways.\n\nWin as a Team - We bring out the best in each other to share collective success.\n\nAs a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and developing innovative mechanical and electromechanical solutions that help shape the future of our gaming products.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign and develop mechanical components, assemblies, tooling, fixtures, jigs, and production equipment using SolidWorks.\n\nCreate detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and engineering documentation.\n\nDevelop sheet metal, machined, fabricated, and plastic components for production applications.\n\nSupport products throughout the full lifecycle, from concept and development through to production launch and ongoing support.\n\nManage engineering data and change control activities within Agile PLM, ensuring accurate configuration management.\n\nSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve production issues and implement design improvements.\n\nConduct engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, design reviews, and validation activities.\n\nWork with suppliers and sourcing teams to deliver cost-effective manufacturing solutions.\n\nInvestigate product and process issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, reliability, efficiency, manufacturability, and cost reduction.\n\nEnsure designs comply with relevant standards, customer requirements, and internal engineering processes.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\nProven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment.\n\nStrong SolidWorks capability, including part modelling, assemblies, manufacturing drawings, and BOM management.\n\nExperience designing tooling, fixtures, jigs, production equipment, and complex mechanical assemblies.\n\nPractical knowledge of sheet metal design, fabrication, machining processes, assembly techniques, and Design for Manufacture principles.\n\nFamiliarity with Agile PLM or similar Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.\n\nStrong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerancing, and GD&T.\n\nAbility to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and deliver practical engineering solutions.\n\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.\n\nA proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on quality, continuous improvement, and delivering results.\n\n Desirable\nExperience with Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA).\n\nFEA or simulation experience.\n\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.\n\nExperience managing Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).\n\nExperience working with suppliers and contract manufacturers.\n\nProject management or technical leadership experience.\n\nQualifications\nDegree, HNC, or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.\nHow You'll Grow\nExpand your involvement in product development from concept generation through to production launch.\n\nInfluence the design of next-generation gaming technology.\n\nBuild your career within a global organisation that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\n\nWorking Model\nThis role is based at our Chadderton office and follows a4-day-per-week onsite working model.
