and best practices.\n\nContribute to technical design discussions, helping shape software architecture and implementation approaches.\n\nTake ownership of software components throughout the development lifecycle, from concept and design through to testing and release.\n\nInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects, performance issues, and technical challenges.\n\nOptimise game performance, stability, and maintainability across multiple projects.\n\nCollaborate closely with artists, game designers, mathematicians, QA engineers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality content.\n\nParticipate in code reviews, sharing constructive feedback and helping maintain quality across the codebase.\n\nSupport and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and encouraging professional development.\n\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance development processes, tools, and engineering practices.\n\nShare knowledge across the team and help foster a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\nCommercial experience developing software in C++, including the ability to understand, debug, and maintain complex codebases.\n\nExperience developing games using the Unity game engine.\n\nStrong capability in C# and object-oriented programming principles.\n\nExcellent programming knowledge supported by solid software engineering fundamentals.\n\nThe ability to design, develop, debug, and maintain robust, scalable software solutions.\n\nExperience delivering software throughout the full development lifecycle.\n\nA solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.\n\nStrong analytical thinking and a practical approach to problem-solving.\n\nExperience working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.\n\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to share knowledge, provide feedback, and support colleagues.\n\nExperience mentoring, coaching, or developing other engineers.\n\nA proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage workload
