A successful incumbent is expected to: \n(i) Serve as finance lead/business partner to the dock equipment manufacturing and supply chain function in meeting their business and financial objectives\n(ii) Lead the analysis of monthly material, labor and overhead spending and costing results; identify trends and consolidate reporting for operations leadership\n(iii) Oversee development of financial models, monthly forecasts, and annual budget for all operations\n(iv) Manage the end-to-end product costing process, working cross functionally to establish and update product standard costs and support corporate reporting and planning requirements by providing all necessary cost information for operations. \nRequires 5+ years of financial planning, analysis, budgeting, financial modeling and forecasting experience and a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance\nResponsibilities \nServe as Finance lead/business partner to the dock equipment manufacturing and supply chain team in meeting their business and financial objectives\nManage the development of the yearly budget, monthly financial forecasts, and scorecard metrics to drive appropriate and timely decision making\nManage the development of the yearly budget, monthly forecasting and reporting of material spend, including PPV, labor and overhead spend, and cost reduction (productivity) projects; identify relevant trends and key drivers on the reasons for variances; advise senior leadership of cost opportunities and risk\nManage the end-to-end product costing process, working cross functionally to establish and update annual and new product standard costs\nIntegrate material cost, inbound transportation, duties and any other relevant cost to provide reliable landed cost on all materials for sourcing, NPD, product marketing and other interested users of this critical data.\nSupport the dock equipment manufacturing and supply chain team in building strong and effective risk and internal control awareness; facilitate continuous improvement of risk management and control processes\nImplement process improvements to reduce finance business process cycle times, improve financial forecast quality, and enhance information provided to leadership for business decisions\nManage the end-to-end product costing process, working cross functionally to establish and update annual and new product standard costs\nForecast and report inventory positions by facility as part of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process\nLead the preparation of monthly operational reviews and other recurring deliverables\nOversee accuracy of the Manufacturing reporting package and KPIs; provide insight and analysis on month, year to date and full year results; compare actuals to Budget and Forecast\nDrive development of standardized reporting between Systems and CG as well as cost accounting procedures for proper make vs buy analysis.\nServe as super user in Safelite, Power BI, SAP/ECC and BPC; train, test, and assist in the development of new functionality\nComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.\nProtect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.\nMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.\nContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.\nMinimum Qualifications\nEducation/Certifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience \nExperience:\n5+ years financial support in a manufacturing environment \nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nStrong presentation and communication skills \nAbility to work in a cross-functional matrix environment \nAdvanced knowledge of US GAAP \nTechnical skill with accounting systems \nAdvanced knowledge in Planning and Reporting software solutions \nAdvanced knowledge of cost accounting processes and procedures \nOther:\nAdvanced English proficiency \nAbility to travel extensively up to 50% of the time in North America \nPreferred Qualifications\nEducation/Certifications:\nMBA, CMA, or CPA \nExperience:\nFPA & General Accounting experience \nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nWorking knowledge of SAP and BPC \n\nThe pay range for this position is $96,800.00 - $156,050.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
