Essential Duties and Responsibilities Weld and assemble different pieces by using hand held welding equipment such as hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures; utilize different materials (plate steel, sheet steel, structural steel, and tubing) Prepare and complete work on materials by welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal Test and inspect welded components to ensure they meet set specifications before moving to the next department Work from different specifications and shop orders Utilize ruler, square, templates, and gauges to take and read measurements Operate cranes, hoists, and lift tables Report damages on machines and equi
