The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of hands-on experience in database development, management, architecture, migration, and optimization. Proficiency in SQL Server is mandatory, with additional expertise in NoSQL databases, Snowflake, and Cloud technologies considered a plus.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDatabase Development and Management:\nDesign, develop, and maintain SQL Server and Other databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).\nWrite efficient, complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.\nCollaborate with application developers to design and optimize database structures.\nImplement and manage database security, backup, and recovery plans.\nMonitor and optimize the performance of the database systems.\n\nDatabase Architecture and Design:\nDesign and implement database systems based on business requirements.\nEnsure database architecture aligns with enterprise standards and best practices.\nCreate and maintain data models and database diagrams.\n\nDatabase Migration and Optimization:\nPlan and execute data migrations between systems, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.\nOptimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and hardware/software configuration.\nImplement and maintain data replication and clustering solutions.\n\nSecurity and Compliance:\nImplement database security measures to protect sensitive data.\nEnsure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and policies.\nConduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.\n\nSupport and Troubleshooting:\nProvide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for database-related issues.\nRespond to and resolve database access and performance issues.\nCollaborate with development teams to assist with database-related application issues.\n\nQualifications:\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\n\nExperience:\nMinimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in database development, management, architecture, migration, and optimization.\nProven experience with SQL Server is mandatory.
