In 2025 we almost doubled in size and continue to grow across all areas in 2026.\nLocalStack is headquartered in Zurich/Switzerland , with a small engineering office in Vienna/Austria and remote team members from 25 countries including the US, FR, UK, CA, ES, and many more!\nCheck our Notion Candidate Handbook and our GitHub!\nWhat you will be working on/responsible for\nDesign, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions for customers.\n\nOptimize for cost efficiency and performance\n\nDeploy and manage workloads using the best fit containerization technology for the job (e.g. k8s, MicroVMs)\n\nAutomate infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation (develop Chef cookbooks, automation scripts and tools)\n\nExperience we expect you to bring to the role\n6+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer/ SRE/ DevOps/ DevSecOps/Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.\n\n5+ years of expertise in using AWS, such as EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, and CloudFront.\n\n5+ years of experience with Linux.\n\nExperience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI)\n\n3+ years of experience in AWS containerized services, such as ECS, EKS, Fargate and containerized tools such as Docker, Helm, ArgoCD.\n\nHighly proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation.\n\nStrong background in software development, with proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, Ruby.\n\nExperience across Azure, Snowflake, GCP and other major cloud providers (beneficial)\n\nValues we hold in LocalStack\nCare: we create with compassion.
