This is a great place to build a career and grow with a company that is dedicated to quality and service.\nIn this position, the candidate will:\nPerform traffic engineering analyses, including capacity and level-of-service analyses, traffic impact studies, operational assessments, and safety evaluations under the guidance of a senior engineer.\nCollect, organize, and evaluate traffic data from sources such as traffic counts, field observations, crash data, and roadway inventories.\nPrepare technical reports, memoranda, exhibits, presentations, and other project documentation that communicate analysis methods, findings, and recommendations.\nAssist with transportation modeling, traffic simulation, signal timing evaluations, and traffic operations studies using industry-standard software.\nPrepare calculations, preliminary plans, drawings, and design documents related to traffic signals, signing, pavement markings, and temporary traffic control under the guidance of a senior engineer.\nApply local, state, and federal traffic engineering standards, manuals, and design criteria to assigned work.\nCollaborate with engineers, planners, technicians, and other project team members to develop transportation solutions and deliver successful projects.\nConduct field reviews and site observations to support traffic studies, design activities, and project development.\nPerform quality-control reviews of assigned work.\nDeveloping traffic management plans, and vehicular queue analyses.\nPerform other traffic engineering-related duties as assigned.\nQualifications for this role include:\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.\nAt least one year of relevant traffic engineering experience is required.
