You will be part of a team developing Lockheed Martin AI talent and building an AI community. Within the LAIC, the AI Factory Growth team focuses on building a strong and vibrant AI/ML community including tools, knowledge sharing, events, and training. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering and continuously improving training that promotes the adoption of GenAI and AI talent growth across the enterprise. This includes teaching live instructor-led courses for technical and non-technical audiences, developing course content and supporting materials, and partnering with the AI Community team to extend learning beyond the classroom through events and knowledge sharing.\nResponsibilities\nDeliver live, instructor-led GenAI training courses to employees across the enterprise, in both virtual and in-person formats, for technical and non-technical audiences\nTeach AI-assisted development concepts and workflows, including the effective and responsible use of AI coding assistants and agentic development tools\nDevelop and maintain course content, including slides, labs, demonstrations, exercises, and facilitator guides, ensuring material stays current with the rapidly evolving GenAI landscape\nPartner with the AI Community team to support events, knowledge sharing, and engagement activities that reinforce and extend classroom learning\nCreate knowledge sharing materials, such as blogs, tutorials, and how-to videos, to support self-paced learning across the AI/ML community\nGather learner feedback and course metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve course design and delivery\nEngage with the Lockheed Martin community on multiple communications platforms to encourage GenAI adoption and provide guidance on enterprise policies and best practices\nCollaborate with GenAI stakeholders to align training content with enterprise strategic objectives and identify gaps in the learning portfolio\nResponsible for autonomy hardware and software system integration and testing including verification and validation.Translates customer requirements into product and systems specifications while addressing technical, schedule, and cost considerations; Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards for autonomous systems; Determines sensing hardware components; Recommends and selects appropriate control systems; Integrates and optimizes the autonomous compute and sensing hardware and software; Solves hardware/software interface problems; Develops plan(s) to integrate autonomous functionality into product(s) and platform(s) and other system(s); Develops test plans for validation and verification and procedures for test and evaluation requirements in collaboration with designers and developers; Performs integration testing and coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities for autonomous programs; Documents and conducts analysis of test results and recommends fixes to software, hardware components, subsystems and systems; Interfaces with other teams involved the development lifecycle for perception.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree; or no experience required with a related PhD or JD. Considered career, or journey, level.\n\nExperience teaching, instructing, or facilitating training for adult learners in classroom, virtual, or workshop settings\n\nStrong working knowledge of how large language models and generative AI systems function, not just how to use them. Candidates should be able to explain these underlying concepts and mechanics accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nExperience developing training materials or curriculum\n\nStrong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences\n\nDesired Skills\nExperience teaching or training others in AI-assisted development, or hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., AI coding assistants, agentic coding tools) in a software development workflow\n\nExperience supporting communities of practice, user groups, or large-scale technology adoption efforts\n\nFamiliarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, and enterprise GenAI platforms\n\nExperience creating multimedia learning content such as video tutorials or interactive labs\n\nDemonstrated expertise in planning, organizing, and executing projects-defining scope, creating realistic schedules, managing resources, and communicating progress to stakeholders to deliver results on time and within budget\n\nPay Information\nGeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States.
