As a technical expert, you will influence every stage of the product life cycle-from design, development, testing, and implementation to the ongoing maintenance of advanced processes and business-analytics tools. You will also be uniquely positioned to identify improvement opportunities, foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders, strengthen the overall team and site performance, and generate financial benefits for Lockheed Martin as a creative engineer on our team.\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute project-management functions for both government-funded and internally-funded Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) projects, including budget and schedule oversight, status reporting, and cost-benefit analysis.\nProvide technical status updates and troubleshoot issues for Production Operations build areas supporting AMT projects.\nEngage in direct collaboration with shop-floor personnel to prototype, test, and validate new technology concepts.\nGathers information concerning the capabilities of company products; investigates the technical capabilities of company products and competing equipment; stays abreast of developments in hardware and software; analyzes customer problems; assists in designing systems to satisfy customer needs. Prepares equipment analysis to instruct sales force and customers in equipment capabilities.
