Our team is responsible for assembling, testing, and validating our microelectronic assemblies that support critical defense systems.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nAs the Assembler - MRSI Machine Operator your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:\nFabricate and modify microwave modules with the MRSI machine.\nInstall connectors, substrates, components, and modules in complex assemblies.\nDisassemble, assemble, rework, and repair pre-production sub-assemblies and systems.\nPerforms fabrication or modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of mid-range to high complexity using an MRSI microwave component automated pick and place machine.\nIinstallation of connectors, substrates, components and modules in highly complex microwave assemblies, often utilizing using paste and sheet epoxies.\nPerforms disassembly, assembly, modification, rework and repair operations on various pre- production subassemblies, assemblies and complete systems that utilize integrated circuit technology.\nPerforms the above operations after the units have been rejected by testing and are sent back with test failure sheets, isolating the problem area.\nPlans work sequence by assessing available work in progress to meet schedule requirements.\nUtilizes measurement equipment (e.g. reticle, drop indicator, etc…) to check parameters during and after work to assure that the unit conforms to specifications.\nCollaborate with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to develop procedures and troubleshoot product to specifications.\nWorks independently with minimal supervision.\nPerforms fabrication or modification tasks on micro-integrated circuit modules and sub- assemblies.\nPerforms disassembly, assembly, modification, rework and repair operations on various pre-production subassemblies, assemblies and complete systems that utilize integrated circuit technology.\nPerforms the above operations after the units have been rejected by testing and are sent back with test failure sheets, isolating the problem area.\nPlans work sequence by interpreting schematic diagrams or other specifications.\nUtilizes test equipment to check parameters during and after rework to assure that the unit conforms to specifications.\nRecords and summarizes data and procedural steps taken to assist engineering in the development and preparation of procedural specifications required for assembly.\nMust meet specified certification requirements required by the customer.\nWhy Join Us\nThe ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently with minimal supervision. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.\nBasic Qualifications\nPrevious experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly\nExperience with plot and referencing and automation machines\nAbility to work 10 hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers and other similar tools; Good dexterity, eye/hand coordination\nAbility to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings\nGood computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities\nAbility to work in a diverse team environment\nGood interpersonal, teaming and communication skills\nCandidate must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and must have at least an Interim Secret Security clearance prior to start\nDesired Skills\nFamiliarity with operating automated dispensing and placement equipment such as MRSI 505, 605, 705 (or equivalent)\nFamiliarity working in an ESD and FOD controlled environment\nExperience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices\nExperience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environments\nAbility to work with minimal supervision.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $47100.00 - $87500.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
