Never have the opportunities for a technical career been so limitless.\nTHE WORK\nPerforms a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.\nCore Responsibilities\nComponent Assembly\nPerform bonding, gasket installation, and component fit up per engineering drawings and work instructions.\nOperate and maintain assembly tools, fixtures, and test equipment.\nQuality & Inspection\nIdentify, evaluate, and document defects (visual, dimensional, functional) using IPC 610/J STD criteria.\nConduct in process inspections and final verification; record results in SAP.\nSAP & Documentation\nCreate, update, and close work orders, inventory transactions, and production reports in SAP.\nMaintain accurate traceability records and inspection logs.\nProcess Instruction & Training\nServe as a Process Instructor as needed - train new hires and cross train teammates on specific assembly techniques and quality requirements.\nParticipate in the development and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs).\nTeam Collaboration\nWork as part of an integrated production team, communicating status, issues, and improvement ideas to supervisors and engineers.\nContribute to Kaizen events, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.\nCompliance & Certification\nFollow all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines.\nMaintain current certifications in manufacturing operations and relevant industry standards.\nBasic Qualifications\n\n- Experience with bonding and gaskets.\n- Ability to identify and evaluate defects.\n- SAP and manufacturing skills and knowledge.\n- Specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks.\n-Demonstrated ability to work as part of an integrated team.\nDesired Skills\nIPC-610, J-STD or other industry standard manufacturing certification\n- Process Instructor\n- Certified in manufacturing operations\n- Knowledge of defects in various areas\n- Inspection\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $35600.00 - $66000.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
