This position will report directly to the PSOC/Avionics Embedded Systems Engineering Senior Manager. This position is located in Denver, Colorado.\nThe responsibilities of this position will include:\nTechnical management\nPlanning (Cost/Schedule) with oversight/responsibilities for subsystem engineering tasks\nAvionics subsystem risk management\nResource deployment/alignment for multiple systems engineering disciplines including requirements/verification, modeling, analysis, integration, and test\nProvide technical leadership to subordinate leaders across the organization\nAlign subsystem processes to FBM SEIT\nDrive Road to Preliminary Design Reviews for box-level and subsystem-level reviews\nCoordinate and participate in Independent Review Boards\nAvionics and RF interface definition and coordination\nSupport digital transformation through the identification, trial and insertion of new advanced capabilities and tools\nThis reflects the standard job description for this position: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.\nBasic Qualifications\nTechnical Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited college.\nDemonstrated engineering leadership experience\nExperience in the application of Engineering processes and disciplines, and demonstrated experience in leading an Engineering or Design organization\nUnderstanding and demonstrated acumen/history in Systems Engineering\nAbility to plan strategically and translate these strategies into daily, weekly and monthly tactical actions and tasks\nDemonstrated ability to plan, propose, and manage organizational budgets and schedules\nExperience generating Basis-Of Estimates (BOEs) and providing proposal support\nProven track record of effective customer coordination and collaboration\nActive Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance\nDesired Skills\nDemonstrated knowledge of the FBM program and Trident II (D5) Reentry\nFamiliar with the Avionics organization within the FBM program\nExperience in the design, integration and testing of Missile and Missile Weapon Systems\nDemonstrated experience with / knowledge of Avionics and Mechanical Design\nElectronics design and packaging experience\nSoftware design experience\nRF design experience\nDemonstrated ability to motivate and energize a diverse and geographically distributed team\nIt is desired the candidate be CAM certified.\nThe candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate, both internally with peers and Program leadership as well as externally with customer counterparts\nThe candidate must be able to motivate a team while embracing diversity and inspiring cultural change\nIt is desired the candidate has a top secret clearance\nMinimum of 10 years total experience, including 2 years demonstrated engineering leadership experience, 5 years of experience in the application of Engineering processes and disciplines, and demonstrated experience in leading a Engineering or Design organization\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
