The Circuit Design Engineer IV role is an individual contributor on the LE2 - Tactical Avionics - Flight Control Electronics (TAV-FCE) team supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program. You will capture requirements, design/analyze circuits, create tests, reports and other deliverable data products. Work is performed in close collaboration with other senior engineers and is focused on delivering hardware deliverables on schedule. This role blends electrical-hardware design, system integration, and development in a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment.\nKey activities you will accomplish in this role:\nDesign circuits, perform electrical simulations and capture schematics\nPerform electrical Worst-Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis\nWork on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of world-class avionics systems\nCreate test plans, procedures and reports\nSupport all stages of Product Certification\nSupport component, package, sub-system and system-level testing\nTo be effective in this role, you will need:\nExperience designing analog electrical circuits to meet system requirements\nProficiency in Control Theory Fundamentals and Applications\nExperience in different phases of the aerospace hardware development cycle\n3+ years of related professional experience\nMust be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.\nExperience in electronics design, with a focus on CCA design and development.\nExperience as a technical lead or responsible engineer.\nAbility to obtain DoD Secret Clearance; US Citizenship.\nDesired Skills\nExperience in Missile or Space Avionics circuit design.\nMissile design experience.\nFull program/product life-cycle experience.\nExperience in ASIC/FPGA development.\nFlight and/or Motor Controls experience.\nExperience with design for manufacture and test.\nExperience with PSPICE, Saber or other electronics simulation tool experience.\nExperience performing electronics analysis (Worst Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis).\nDemonstrated good communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers.\nDemonstrated strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.\nAble to work effectively in a diverse team environment.\nProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
