Join us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.\nWhat does this role look like?\nThe FBM Program is experiencing significant growth, and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence.\nAs a Circuit Design Engineer, you will support the development of Avionics Packages for the Initiation and Preset Subsystem for the D5LE2 Trident II Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile.\nKey activities you will accomplish in this role:\nDesign/Capture electrical schematics and guide the board layouts.\nPerform electrical Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.\nWork on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of world class avionics systems.\nTroubleshoot and resolve test anomalies, support system level testing.\nTo be effective in this role, you will need:\nExperience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.\nExperience in different phases of aerospace hardware development cycle.\nExperience interacting with peers, management and government customers.\nExperience in presentations and in written communication skills.\n3+ years professional experience.\nStandard Job Description:\nDesigns and develops circuits used in electronic devices. Responsible for layout and mask design, device evaluation and characterization, test box design, prototype construction and checkout, and determination of wafer fabrication processes. Prepares test methods and specifications; analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests; provides finished device approval; and prepares customer application information.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.\nExperience in circuit design at the card/board level schematic and analysis.\nWilling and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.\nDesired Skills\nExperience with a combination of design, test, operations and systems engineering disciplines.\nExperience in schematic capture using Xpedition or similar tools.\nExperience with PSPICE, Saber or other electronics simulation tool experience.\nExperience performing electronics analysis (Worst Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis).\nExperience performing failure Investigation on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System Level).\nDemonstrated good communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers.\nDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment and to build consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members.\nDemonstrated strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.\nAdaptable to new situations and demonstrate self-initiative in solving complex problems.\nAble to work effectively in a diverse team environment.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
