The Senior Electronics design engineer is an individual contributor on the LE2 - Avionics TMK2 team supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program. You will be a Certified Principal Engineer for a Flight Avionics electronics box being subcontracted to a supplier. This role blends supplier coordination, requirements verification, interface management, and collaborative testing/troubleshooting in a mission-oriented environment, emphasizing oversight and validation over primary circuit design and integration.\nKey activities you will accomplish in this role:\nCertified Principal Engineer for a Telemetry electronics commodity. \nAttending supplier weekly technical interchanges.\nWorking with various stake holders to ensure proper requirements are captured and flowed to suppliers.\nWork with suppliers to ensure proper compliance with requirements.\nSupport preliminary design review, critical design review and various other life cycle reviews.\nTo be effective in this role, you will need:\nExperience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.\nExperience in different phases of aerospace hardware development cycle.\n3+ years professional experience.\nExperience working with suppliers.\nAbility and desire to obtain a Secret clearance which requires US Citizenship.\nDesigns and develops circuits used in electronic devices. Responsible for layout and mask design, device evaluation and characterization, test box design, prototype construction and checkout, and determination of wafer fabrication processes. Prepares test methods and specifications; analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests; provides finished device approval; and prepares customer application information.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education\nExperience with circuit design, troubleshooting and / or circuit analysis.\nAbility and desire to obtain a Secret clearance which requires US Citizenship.\nDesired Skills\nPrior experience working suppliers.\nPrior experience flowing requirements to suppliers and verifying compliance.\nPrior experience with design reviews (PDR, CDR, PRR).\nPrior experience using COTs products and ensuring it meets system level requirements.\nPrior experience with telemetry encoders and data acquisition products. \nGood communication and presentation skills.\nElectronics trouble-shooting and familiarity with lab equipment (DMM, Scopes, programmable DC power supplies, Logic analyzers or similar).\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
