And we’re reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring security and prosperity.\nJoin us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.\nWhat does this role look like?\nThis is an Avionics Circuit Design Engineer role where you will work on the development, integration, and production of a sophisticated state-of the-art electronics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.\nKey activities you will accomplish in this role:\nDesign/Capture electrical schematics and guide the board layouts.\nCollaborate with Printed Wiring Board, Guidance, Navigation & Control, FPGA, and Special Test Equipment teams to construct and checkout this hardware.\nDesign and prepare the checkout and test procedures to bring this hardware product to Acceptance and Qualification, ensuring the product meets customer requirements and ready for flight.\nPerform electrical Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.\nWork on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of world class avionics systems.\nResolve test anomalies and troubleshooting, and generation, review and presentation of Product Certification, and also support system level testing.\nTo be effective in this role, you will need:\nExperience interacting with peers, management and government customers.\nProficiency in presentations and in written communications.\nWhile no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.\nDesigns and develops circuits used in electronic devices. Responsible for layout and mask design, device evaluation and characterization, test box design, prototype construction and checkout, and determination of wafer fabrication processes. Prepares test methods and specifications; analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests; provides finished device approval; and prepares customer application information.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.\nElectrical, electronics and/or software background.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required. \nDesired Skills\nMasters or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.\nProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $83700.00 - $155500.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
