You will work with and learn from industry-leading circuit design professionals in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nThe Circuit Design Engineer will support the design, development, integration, and test of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) used in challenging, high-reliability defense applications. Responsibilities may include:\nDriving the architecture, schematic capture, and EPCAD layout for circuit card assemblies supporting missile and sensor subsystems\nDefining, refining, and documenting system, performance, interface, and environmental requirements for circuit card designs\nConducting trade studies to evaluate alternative design approaches and recommending optimal implementations\nPerforming circuit simulation and analysis using Cadence PSpice or equivalent tools\nCapturing schematics using Siemens Xpedition Enterprise and collaborating with EPCAD to create layout and signal routing solutions\nOwning end-to-end circuit card designs and delivering all data and evidence required for Design Assurance reviews\nWorking with systems, electromechanical, firmware/software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and testing\nManaging bill of materials, part sourcing, and prototype build-up activities\nVerifying compliance with shock, vibration, radiation, and other environmental qualification standards\nThis position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced circuit design professionals and gain exposure to cutting-edge defense technology. Strong career growth and advancement opportunities are available.\nCandidates may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university\nMinimum 1 year of professional experience in circuit design engineering or a related discipline\nExperience with schematic capture tools such as Siemens Xpedition Enterprise or equivalent\nExperience with circuit simulation and analysis tools such as Cadence PSpice or equivalent\nExperience with developing and refining system requirements, including performance, interface, and environmental requirements\nActive DoD Top Secret or functionally equivalent\nDesired Skills\nExperience with MFC circuit card design processes and the Design Assurance process\nExperience with military standards and specifications, including MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-704\nHigh-speed design experience including PCIe, Gigabit Ethernet, SERDES, or high-speed memory interfaces (DDR4/5)\nExperience with Xilinx/AMD FPGA families (UltraScale, Versal)\nExperience with Mentor Graphics Hyperlynx or equivalent signal integrity tools\nFPGA design experience; familiarity with Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL\nExperience with analog and/or digital video system design\nMATLAB experience\nDemonstrated effective communication skills\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $81100.00 - $150500.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
