You will bring together internal teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to achieve technical, quality, cost and schedule objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the Communications IPT, setting direction, defining responsibilities and maintaining accountability for delivery.\nOversee the technical management and integration of communications systems across the product lifecycle.\nDevelop and maintain delivery plans, schedules and performance measures to meet program milestones.\nCoordinate subcontractor activities and product integration, ensuring deliverables meet program requirements.\nManage risks and opportunities, resolve delivery impediments and drive timely decisions.\nBuild effective relationships across engineering, manufacturing, logistics and other functional teams.\nApply integrated product development practices and Agile approaches to strengthen team performance and delivery outcomes.\nCommunicate progress, priorities and issues clearly to program leadership and stakeholders.\nWhat you'll bring\nYou are an experienced technical leader who can bring people together, navigate complex integration challenges and translate program priorities into practical delivery outcomes.\nYour experience will include:\nExtensive experience with military or commercial communications systems, particularly radio frequency systems and broadband networks.\nProven leadership of multidisciplinary product or engineering teams delivering complex systems.\nStrong capability in planning, prioritising, coordinating and monitoring work against technical, cost and schedule objectives.\nExperience managing subcontractors and coordinating the integration of externally developed products.\nSound judgement in problem solving, conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement.\nAdvanced knowledge of Agile frameworks, processes and tools, with a focus on continuous improvement.\nExperience in communications systems delivery to the Commonwealth, systems engineering, complex systems integration and test, Model-Based Engineering, SAFe and Control Account Management will be highly regarded.\nDon't meet every requirement?\nIf you're excited by this opportunity but don't meet every criterion, we'd still love to hear from you.
