# Component Engineer Sr - E3

Standard Job Description Conducts or participates in the selection, evaluation, qualification, testing and failure analysis of Electrical, Electronic, Electromechanical and Electro-optical (EEEE) Components. Plans, directs, reviews and coordinates the preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are met. Prepares EEEE Component Source Control Drawings (SCDs), evaluates vendors and analyzes EEEE Component test reports. The Component Engineer is responsible for the oversight of Subcontractor EEEE Components, generating/reviewing/approving Non-Standard Part Approval Requests (NSPARs) at Parts, Materials and Process Control Board (PMPCB) meetings, reviewing and approving engineering drawings and SCDs, participating/leading PMP issue resolutions and assisting/leading failure analysis under the EEEE Components domain. Basic Qualifications Experience and/or knowledge in the design, analysis, and/or construction of electrical parts and circuits, operation of devices such as relays, hybrids, integrated circuits, transistors, diodes and capacitors Knowledge of design, functionality, manufacturing, materials and processes used in EEE parts Bachelor
