Working from early-stage designs, engineering drawings, and evolving work instructions, you will transform concepts into high-precision, functional products.\nThe role involves working with a variety of materials, including metals, composites, and advanced adhesives, ensuring all assemblies meet defined engineering tolerances, quality standards, and functional performance requirements. You will play an important role in bridging the gap between design and production-ready hardware.\nKey Responsibilities\nInterpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical instructions to assemble precision components\nCarry out mechanical assembly, integration, and basic functional testing of systems and sub-assemblies\nUse precision measurement equipment to verify dimensions and ensure tolerance compliance\nWork with a range of materials and processes, including fastening, bonding, and light fabrication\nIdentify build issues or design challenges and work with engineering teams to resolve them\nMaintain accurate build records and documentation to support traceability and quality requirements\nSupport continuous improvement activities, including Lean / 6S practices and process refinement\nThe successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate level (SC) of security clearance.
