The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for:\n- Developing Infrastructure As Code and scripting to automate tasks, provision managed services, and build tools. Popular programming languages for DevOps engineers include Python, Ansible, and Terraform.\n- Experience patching, hardening, and maintaining compliance of RHEL\n- Install, configure, and provide performance tuning utilizing: Kubernetes, Docker Compose, Nifi, and cloud native logging and metrics collection tools.\n- Managing CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deploying code utilizing GitLab runners and Argo CD.\n- Managing commercial cloud computing platforms (AWS).\n- Communication and collaboration: DevOps is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.\n- The position allows little to no work from home and will require a significant portion or all work to be performed in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).\nBasic Qualifications\n- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education\n- 9 years or more of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.\n- An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph with CI poly within the last 7 years.\nDesired Skills\n(2 or more of the below):\n- Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure including but not limited to EC2, Lambdas, S3, SNS, SQS, Event Router, Athena, Step Functions using Terraform and auto scaling.\n- Understanding of AWS networking principles to include VPCs, NATs, IP Gateway.\n- Develop and manage Gitlab CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes\n- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability.\n- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure system uptime\n- Kubernetes experience with a focus on EKS, ECS, and/or Fargate\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $135700.00 - $251900.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
