This relies on systems engineering principles to design and implement solutions that span the data lifecycle to: collect, ingest, process, store, persist, access, and deliver data at scale and at speed. It includes knowledge of local, distributed, and cloud-based technologies; data virtualization and smart caching; and all security and authentication mechanisms required to protect the data.Build data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate unorganized data into databases or data sources that are ready for analysis; Design and implement data solutions by defining functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications; Work through all stages of a data solution lifecycle, e.g., analyze / profile data, create conceptual, logical and physical data model designs, architect and design ETL, reporting and analytics; Maintain data systems performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems; calculating optimum values for parameters; evaluating, integrating, and installing new releases; Define standards, best practices, and certification processes for data objects\nBasic Qualifications\n3+ years of demonstrated experience working with SAP, SAP HANA, Oracle, or SQL Server (example: relational database principles, SQL, SQL Script, PL/SQL, Transact-SQL in support of Procedures, Functions, and Views)\nKnowledge and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Qlik.\nExperience with data mining and cleansing, recognizing and correcting errors/discrepancies and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data, and/or ETL data warehousing principles\nExperience with problem-solving and troubleshooting/resolving complex technical issues\nBackground in creating data solutions for Data Analytic products and services at scale and speed\nBackground/working knowledge in multiple languages such as Python, Microsoft (VBA), or others and their various applications and use cases\nDesired Skills\nExperience working with internal and external customers to develop and improve program deliverables, processes, and solutions that solve customer needs\nExperience in coordinating changes to existing data products with minimal disruption to end-user\nKnowledge of ERP system functionality\nRelational database principles and strong SQL\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders\nPay Information\nGeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States.
