This relies on systems engineering principles to design and implement solutions that span the data lifecycle to: collect, ingest, process, store, persist, access, and deliver data at scale and at speed. It includes knowledge of local, distributed, and cloud-based technologies; data virtualization and smart caching; and all security and authentication mechanisms required to protect the data.Build data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate unorganized data into databases or data sources that are ready for analysis; Design and implement data solutions by defining functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications; Work through all stages of a data solution lifecycle, e.g., analyze / profile data, create conceptual, logical and physical data model designs, architect and design ETL, reporting and analytics; Maintain data systems performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems; calculating optimum values for parameters; evaluating, integrating, and installing new releases; Define standards, best practices, and certification processes for data objects\nBasic Qualifications\nDegree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.\n10 or more years of data engineering experience, including 3 or more years supporting AI and machine-learning systems and experience with business intelligence and data warehousing concepts such as ETL, data modeling, and reporting.\n5 or more years of experience in data analysis and data or system architecture.\nInterim or Active U.S. Government Security Clearance.\nAbility to obtain special program access.\nStrong proficiency with Eqube, neo4j, and SAP Hana.\nHands-on experience building ETL or ELT pipelines at scale.\nExperience with Agile methods\nDesired Skills\nExperience designing and building ontologies, taxonomies, or knowledge graphs.\nExperience with OrientDB, graphDB, or similar open source software packages.\nExperience with TeamCenter PLM, Solumina IbaseT, ERP4C or similar PLM/MES/ERP systems.\nDemonstrated ability to establish strong team relationships and deliver an exceptional customer experience.\nExcellent organizational, time-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nMaster's degree in a related technical field\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
