If you’re ready to design what’s next in aviation, bring your skills to Stratford and build the future with us.\nBasic Qualifications\n* Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline from an accredited college.\n* 9+ years of professional experience in Aerospace or related Mechanical Engineering Design discipline.\n* 5+ years of Computer Aided Design experience with systems such as Catia V5/V6(3DX) for developing mechanical design models.\n* Extensive technical expertise in structural design principles, material science and load analysis.\n* Experience using technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques for solutioning complex problems.\nDesired Skills\n* 3+ years’ experience in design of composite airframe structure with Catia V5 and 3DX workbenches.\n* Familiarity with model based system engineering for requirements flow down.\n* Expertise with the use of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing for manufacturing fit and function.\n* Willingness and ability to technically mentor early career talent.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
