you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility and be expected to work a flexible 9x80\nWhat does this role look like?\nJoin a fast paced dynamic team engaged in designing the Missile test and checkout equipment for the Next Gen Interceptor (NGI) Program.\nKey activities you will accomplish in this role:\nYou will work with a team of engineers for the development of Special Test Equipment that requires research, test equipment/system development, for a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including Avionics, RF Systems, Control Systems Telemetry, Electro-Optical and Radiation Detection Equipment; radio and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components using analog and digital data acquisition and control systems, FPGA, real-time systems, computers; and control and test equipment.\nYou will design automated test equipment (ATE), electronic hardware, including signal conditioning equipment and interface with COTS instrumentation for system production tests, system validation and system level field test.\nTo be successful in this role, you will need:\nExperience developing/designing STE systems as well as card/box level STE.\nExperience performing HW/SW integration of card/box level STE.\nExperience with cable and electronic system board design and troubleshooting.\nAutomated Test System Hardware / Software design and integration experience.\n3+ years of professional experience\nFor this position, an active DOD Secret clearance or higher is required to be considered, thus US Citizenship is required.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited college, related discipline and/or equivalent experience/combined education\nProficient in the evaluation, analysis, and selection of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and/or Custom Electronics for test racks\nExperience creating design documentation, including drawing creation/updates\nTest procedure development and execution of functional testing\nWorking knowledge of electronic lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers \nBased on customer requirements, the US Government, candidates must have the ability to obtain/maintain Secret level clearance\nDesired Skills\nEffectively communicate with stakeholders\nAbility to manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks\nMotivated and self-starter with excellent communications skills\nDemonstrated experience designing, developing, testing Department of Defense (DoD) electronic equipment and sub-systems.\nDemonstrated experience leading a team of engineers in a development project.\nExperience with selection and integration of network servers, switches, fabric extenders, memory, power supplies, etc.\nExperience writing/submitting Engineering Change Notices (CN)\nConduct End-of-Life assessment, impact, and resolution for existing products\nHands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving to address technical challenges supporting production and new development\nExperience designing cables and development of interconnect diagrams using Zuken E3 a plus\nDefense Industry design experience\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
