The highly specialized services involved in SV processing require expertise, familiarity, knowledge of program requirements, and technically complex one-of-a-kind Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) systems. These services include payload transportation; propellant services; payload processing support; mission integration; engineering and sustainment of specialized equipment, and facilities infrastructure. Services also include sustainment of security systems at Schriever Space Force Base, CO (SSFB), in addition to the two launch sites, Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA (VSFB) and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL (CCSFS)\nSummary of Key Duties for this Position:\nThe Engineer selected for this position will be assigned to the Electrical Engineering team primarily supporting the Launch Base Mission Communications and IT Systems at CCSFS. Daily work is completed at customer facilities with limited opportunities for travel.\nDaily work may include but is not limited to:\nGenerating work authorizing documents\nExecuting preventative maintenance procedures\nInvestigating and troubleshooting system anomalies\nCreating Project Plans and managing projects\nPreparing, updating, and creating requirements, drawings, plans, and procedures\nPreparing and submitting purchase requisitions for parts and services\nBasic Qualifications\n\nUS Citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI w/Poly Clearance.\nExperience with fiber and Ethernet cable components and standards\nDesired Skills\nWillingness and ability to work occasional odd or extended shifts\nFamiliarity with Launch Base Requirements Document (LBRD),\nIn depth knowledge of fiber/ethernet standards and termination options\nProficient with MS Visio, MS Project, MS Office tools\nWork effectively in a matrixed managed environment\nKnowledgeable of US Government/Military culture\nDetail oriented with ability to multi-task\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $58200.00 - $108200.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
