This is where the best are built.\nLockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Buiness Area in Owego, New York is seeking a motivated candidate to join our electronics engineering team in manufacturing operations. In this role, you will have opportunities to support the design, development, testing, and integration of electronic systems for a variety of aerospace and defense projects. This is a hands-on role focused on equipment and hardware for development and production programs. You will have the opportunity to collaborate on the design and development of factory automation projects, modeling solutions, writing software, etc. Must be a US Citizen.; This position requires a security clearance.\nKey Responsibilities\nParticipate in bench-level testing of prototypes: configure instrumentation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers), collect data, and troubleshoot hardware issues.\nContribute to the development of test software for microcontrollers and FPGAs (C/C++, Verilog/VHDL) under guidance.\nSupport documentation activities: update design reports, test procedures, and compliance matrices.\nAttend product reviews, team meetings, and cross-functional workshops; provide status updates and technical input.\nFollow safety, quality, and security protocols in all engineering activities.\nResearches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.\nStrong academic foundation in analog/digital circuit design, signal processing, and embedded systems.\nDemonstrated ability to use a multi-meter, oscilliscope, network analyzer, and signal generator\nFoundational knowledge of software development for testing and verification of electronics assemblies\nMust be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
