You will need to live near the Lockheed Martin Space facility in Waterton, CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.\nWhat does this role look like?\nThe FBM Program is experiencing significant growth with long-term stability. We need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers. You will join the LE2 - Autonomous Flight Termination System (AFTS) team supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program. You will design and integrate hardware for a critical safety component in the missile. \nThe role will contain a mix of circuit design, analysis, and simulation, with lab work including building and testing circuit card assemblies (CCAs). Some tools used are Zuken, Hyperlynx, Eldo, and Maxwell. You will test prototypes to ensure the design is functional, write test plans for technicians to check production boards for manufacturing defects, and may supervise testing.\nKey activities you will accomplish in this role:\nExample:\nDesign electrical circuits.\nSupport other designers in meetings with layout, routing, and production specialists.\nSimulate circuit assemblies.\nPerform Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA), part variability analysis, and power and signal integrity analysis.\nTest developed circuits and write test plans.\nWork on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of world class avionics systems.\nResolve test anomalies and troubleshooting; generation, review and presentation of Product Certification; and support system level testing.\nTo be successful in this role, you will need:\nWhile no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.\nExperience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.\nExperience in different phases of aerospace hardware development cycle.\nExperience interacting with peers, management and government customers.\nExperience in presentations and in written communication skills.\nCircuit design experience.\nResearches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. \nPrior professional experience in circuit design or electronics development. \nExperience related to analog and/or digital circuit design and analysis. \nExperience with schematic capture and/or circuit simulation tools. \nU.S. citizenship required. \nDesired Skills\nFamiliarity with electrical test and measurement equipment (e.g., digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) and hardware test processes. \nAbility to interpret schematics, electrical interfaces, wiring diagrams, and interconnect drawings. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences. \nStrong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and troubleshooting abilities for circuits, assemblies, and test systems. \nPrompt response to email and in-office communications.\nUnderstanding of PCB/PWB layout, CCA manufacturing, box build, and hardware integration processes. \nFamiliarity with Zuken PCB design and circuit analysis suite.\nFamiliarity with Eldo, HyperLynx, LT or P Spice, MathCAD, or Siemens Xpedition.\nFamiliarity with WCCA. \nActive Secret security clearance.\nProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
