This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Cape Canaveral, FL and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.\nKey activities you will accomplish in this role: On a day to day basis, the selected candidate will support the FBM EGSE organization by designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting hardware for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE).\nTo be effective in this role, you will need:\nA Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.\n3+ years of professional experience.\nAlthough no clearance is required to start, a Secret clearance must be obtained and maintained; therefore, U.S. citizenship is required.\nThe information below reflects the standard job description for this position:\nResearches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.\nBasic Qualifications\nWorking knowledge or experience in the design, test, integration, and deployment of electronics equipment.\nExperience performing high voltage circuit design and analysis\nProficiency with basic test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and electronic loads.\nExperience with testing avionics, electronic components, or electrical systems using purpose-designed test equipment.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US citizenship is required. \nDesired Skills\nExperience on space- and/or missile-defense missions.\nStrong presentation and written-communication skills.\nDesign, test, programming, and integration/deployment of automated test equipment (ATE).\nCreation, interpretation, and capture of electronic-systems schematics using Zuken or similar tools.\nExperience with PSpice or other electronic-circuit simulation tools.\nPerforming electronics analyses such as Worst-Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, and Failure-Modes-and-Effects Critical Analysis (FMECA).\nAdaptable to new situations and able to take initiative when solving complex problems.\nEffective collaborator in diverse team environments.\nAlthough no clearance is required to start, a Secret clearance must be obtained and maintained; therefore, U.S. citizenship is required.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
