In this role, you will join a high-performance team in Operations Engineering where you will have opportunities to support the design, development, testing, and integration of electronic systems for a variety of aerospace and defense projects. This is a hands-on role focused on equipment and hardware for development and production programs. You will have the opportunity to collaborate on the design and development of factory automation projects, modeling solutions, writing software, etc. Must be a US Citizen.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.\nKey Responsibilities\nParticipate in bench-level testing of prototypes: configure instrumentation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers), collect data, and troubleshoot hardware issues.\nContribute to the development of test software for microcontrollers and FPGAs (C/C++, Verilog/VHDL) under guidance.\nSupport documentation activities: update design reports, test procedures, and compliance matrices.\nAttend product reviews, team meetings, and cross-functional workshops; provide status updates and technical input.\nFollow safety, quality, and security protocols in all engineering activities.\nBasic Qualifications\nCurrently enrolled as a junior (3rd-year) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline; pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.\nStrong academic foundation in analog/digital circuit design, signal processing, and embedded systems.\nHands-on laboratory experience: soldering, using test equipment, and prototype building.\nMust be a US Citizen.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access. \nDesired Skills\nProficiency with at least one CAD/EDA tool (e.g., Altium, Eagle, KiCad) or willingness to learn quickly.\nFamiliarity with microcontroller development (Arduino, STM32, PIC, etc.)\nBasic programming experience (C/C++, Python) \nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $24.37 - $28.15\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
