The Electronics Engineer 3 is an individual contributor on the Avionics team supporting the Orion program. You will design, integrate, and test flight hardware for Orion Avionics subsystem. Work is performed under the direction of senior engineers and is focused on delivering critical flight hardware on schedule. This role blends electrical-hardware design, system integration, and test-equipment development in a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment.\nKey activities you will accomplish in this role:\nExample:\nDesign/Capture electrical schematics and guide the board layouts.\nPerform electrical Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.\nWork on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of world class avionics systems.\nResolve test anomalies and troubleshooting, and generation, review and presentation of Product Certification, and also support system level testing.\nTo be effective in this role, you will need:\nExample:\nExperience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.\nExperience in different phases of aerospace hardware development cycle.\n3+ years professional experience.\nResearches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Engineering or a related STEM discipline or experience in lieu of degree.\nPrevious or current equivalent responsible product engineer or full lifecycle electronics engineering technical leadership experience.\nDesired Skills\nPrevious avionics hardware experience\nBox/Card Test equipment troubleshooting and scripting (python)\nCircuit troubleshooting/root cause analysis\nPrevious or current technical leadership experience.\nDemonstrated leadership or willingness to lead.\nKnowledge of CCA test requirements and processes.\nTechnical experience in full life cycle development of hardware including design, integration, and test.\nDemonstrated strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.\nShould be able to demonstrate strong technical leadership abilities to support ATLO integration team\nProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
