This Electronics Engineering Manager position supports the Space Based Interceptor program. You will support Missile Avionics and Electronics design from concept development through detail design, build and test while overseeing a team of engineers who support a wide array of next generation development within our Advanced Programs portfolio. This role blends electronics architecture and electrical-hardware design along with formal Management responsbilities in a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment.\nKey activities you will accomplish in this role:\nProvide technical oversight and day to day tasking for a group of Electrical Hardware Design Engineers as well as support their professional development\nEnsuring Manufacturing support and troubleshooting that supports program schedules.\nExperience and expertise with full product life cycle. Knowledge of the definition, interpretation, and implementation of design requirements, coordination and execution of hardware designs, development and integration of hardware in accordance with all Lockheed Martin Space engineering process specifications.\nProvide Avionics and Electrical system architecture development\nDesign/Capture electrical schematics and guide the board layouts.\nPerform electrical Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.\nWork on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of world class avionics systems.\nResolve test anomalies and troubleshooting, and generation, review and presentation of Product Certification, and also support system level testing.\nTo be effective in this role, you will need:\nExperience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.\nExperience in different phases of aerospace hardware development cycle.\nPrevious experience leading technical teams\n9+ years professional experience.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.\nManages the research, design, development, and testing of a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.\nProject Technical Leadership or formal Management experience throughout the engineering life cycle.\nDemonstrated experience in high-reliability electronics hardware development and/or test experience.\nDemonstrated experience with electronics products sustainment, production or development.\nDesired Skills\n\nOral and written communication to successfully facilitate effective and efficient interchanges with employees, coworkers/peers, all levels of and with customers.\nDemonstrated experience with continuous improvement processes for improved production along with a focus on Design for Excellence (DfX).\nIn-depth background and experience of aerospace electronics design/architectures to manage risk and identify mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, schedule, and mission success objectives.\nPrevious experience in a management role with direct reports.\n• Demonstrated ability to work in a cost and scheduled constrained environment.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
