By integrating cutting-edge capabilities, we ensure our naval aviation platforms remain reliable, effective, and ready for the most demanding environments.\nThe Work\nAs an Engineering Planner in Owego, NY, you will be part of the Naval Helo Mission Systems team supporting Naval Helicopter programs. You will play a key role in program planning and execution by:\nCollecting and compiling metrics to be reviewed with technical leads, program managers, and engineering program managers for accuracy and validity.\nCollecting and evaluating workforce planning reports to support workload reviews and future staffing projections.\nTracking, comparing, and reporting weekly actuals against monthly staffing plans.\nEvaluating planned vs. actual performance management in support of Earned Value Management, Work Package Management, and Control Account Management.\nPerforming Integrated Master Schedule Development and Schedule Status Management.\nPrepares and coordinates the plans and schedules for new or existing programs.\nDetermines, monitors, and reviews costs, operational budgets and schedules, and manpower requirements.\nSupports and participates in negotiations with customer.\nAnalyzes effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources.\nResolves proposal preparation problems and assesses the progress against established plans and parameters.\nFormulates and recommends corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements.\nPlease Note: This position requires the a DoD SECRET clearance prior to start.\nThis role is hybrid, and applicants should be local to Owego, NY.\nWho We Are\nThe Naval Helo Mission Systems team in Owego brings together engineers, planners, and technical professionals who solve complex challenges for critical naval aviation programs.
