One of the program’s two primary operating locations is Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL. Key elements of the PLSSS program scope include satellite launch processing, satellite transport operations, satellite propellant loading operations, clean room operations, satellite processing and support facilities O&M, and safety and environmental services.\nWe are seeking a Cleanroom Technician to maintain clean room operations for launch processing operations.\nSummary of Key Duties:\nClean and keep program support facility hardware processing, working areas and washrooms to standards specified by operational directives.\nSweep, mop, scrub, polish floors, remove chips, trash and other refuse.\nResponsible for general cleaning and upkeep of all facilities and areas including restrooms.\nPerform cleaning functions in clean rooms utilizing clean room techniques, equipment and chemicals.\nConduct clean room inspections and documents findings to Contamination Engineer.\nMaintain records of daily events.\nInstall witness plates, fallout filters, and contamination monitoring equipment.\nInspect, repair, inventory, issue, and rotate clean room garments to and from cleaners.\nYou will maintain area controls, work area rules and limit access according to the approved access list.\nBasic Qualifications\nMust be willing and able to perform all types of cleaning. This position involves both precision cleaning & janitorial tasking.\nAbility to take direction and perform to exacting standards.\nMust be willing to work occasional offshifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.\nMust be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).\nMust be a U.S citizen able to obtain a TS/SCI w/ Polygraph security clearance\nDesired Skills\n\nPrevious cleaning experience a plus\nParticipation in a technical or vocational program.\nSelf starter\nPositive attitude\nAbility to multitask\nAttention to detail\nMust be comfortable working at various heights\nAbility to maintain facilities in an extremely clean status\nMust be able to work well with others\nAbility to be trained to operate high-lifts and forklifts a must.\nDependability.
