Candidate must apply knowledge of functional business areas in support of the business needs. This may involve system changes which will result in development of requirements documentation including development specifications, development of implementation schedules, coordination of implementation of changes, and delivery of documentation. Also require coordination of activities across business system applications and resources for problem research and resolution. Candidate will also support special projects such as SAP upgrades, patch updates, new implementations, and all related internal or external facing interfaces. Candidate will be part of the IT department and will work with the user community to ensure the software meets the needs of the contract. This includes, but is not limited to, configuration settings, and workflow / report design and support. All work performed is related to the Special Operations Forces Support Activity (SOFSA) contract in Lexington, Kentucky.\nApplies functional knowledge to the design and customization of SAP or PeopleSoft client/server application to meet the company's requirements and systems needs. Understands content, processes, and procedures associated with implementing enterprise applications. Writes functional requirements, develops test plans, and works with production issues. Works with developers to ensure requirements are being met. At higher levels, serves as subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with implementing enterprise applications.\nBasic Qualifications\nStrong knowledge of SAP full life cycle implementations\nExpertise in the following: Plant Maintenance, Extended Warehouse Management, Production Planning\nExperience in at least one of the following: Supplier Quality Management, Quality Assurance/Control, Finance/Accounting, Manufacturing Resource Planning as it pertains to government contracting\nBasic knowledge the Aerospace and Defense sector\nFirm understanding of software development life-cycle and the implementation of user requirements into the environment via definition, testing, implementation and training\nKnowledge of SAP concepts and capabilities and aptitude to apply and provide IT solutions\nClear communication skills - ability to converse both technically and functionally\nAbility to obtain DoD 8140 baseline certification (such as Comptia Security+) within 6 months of start date.\nDesired Skills\nExperience with SAP ERP Business Requirements - Warehousing, Procurement, Manufacturing, or Quality functionality\nExperience with the SAP ABAP development language / SAP ABAP Query functionality\nCustomer service focus\nExposure to one or more of the following SAP modules: EWM, QM, PM, PRO, FI/CO, PS, MRP, PEO\nCurrent DoD 8140 baseline certification, such as CompTIA Security+ ce\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $76700.00 - $142500.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
