Often on call beyond normal working hours in the protection and transportation of senior executives and visitors to and from Lockheed Martin facilities, meetings, and special events. May use force of arms to carry out the mission and requires special State Police Commission to include applicable weapons permits. May perform emergency medical response. Performs advance trip planning/coordination with law enforcement agencies and other groups for executive visits for both domestic and international travel. The applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain a U.S. security clearance. Possess or be able to obtain a Maryland and VA Special Police Commission and concealed weapon permits.\nBasic Qualifications\n5+ years experience in providing close protection and advance trip planning/coordination\n- Effective verbal communication skills.\n- Extensive knowledge of the Washington, DC metro area.\n- Tactical driving capabilities.\n- Experience in dealing with workplace violence.\n- Ability to work long hours and travel both CONUS and OCONUS\n- Experience in working in a corporate environment.\n- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.\n- Familiarity with home security systems.\nDesired Skills\nAED/CPR Certified\nFirearms expert\nSmall protective detail experience\nFormal Executive Protection training certificate\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
